One rule while Dad is away
The whole drama rests on one sentence. Your dad has to travel for work, so he makes his wife Ava, who is 22, responsible for the house and for you, with a clear instruction: “Whatever your mom says, you do.” Ava decides to take him at his word. What starts as house rules turns into something more personal, and the official premise is blunt about where it heads: she wants you next, and saying no is not an option.

The mood changes around 0:46. The man stands outside a bedroom door that has been left half open and looks through the gap. What he sees, a few seconds later, is her standing at the mirror with her back to the door, in black lace briefs only, hands held over her chest. Nothing explicit is shown. The episode leaves you where he is, outside the door, unsure whether he was meant to see.
