A drama made with AI
An AI drama, in the Candy Shorts sense, is a short adult series whose people, rooms and scenes are generated with AI rather than filmed. It still works like a TV drama: there is a cast of characters, a setting, and a problem that pulls them toward something they should not do. The stories are released on Candy AI and watched there, one episode after another.
What makes them dramas rather than single clips is continuity. The same characters return in every episode, and each one picks up where the previous one stopped. Episode 1 sets the situation; the later episodes decide what comes of it.
How the story is told
The format is compact. 55 of the 60 dramas on this site have five episodes; the others have seven, ten or, in one case, 35. The 52 openers we timed last between 50 seconds and 1:43, with a middle value of 1:04.
With about a minute to work with, episode 1 is mostly setup: where we are, who wants whom, and what stands in the way. Two examples from episode 1:
- In Claimed by the Dragon Queen, between 0:12 and 0:31 glowing scales spread across Queen Veyra’s neck and her eyes turn to fire while she holds Ethan by the chin. A few seconds later, soldiers seize him in daylight.
- In The King’s Chambermaid, at about 0:15 the chambermaid slides a gold ring onto the king’s hand, and the episode closes with the two of them almost kissing in candlelight. Everyone stays in period clothes.
The cast
The faces you see are AI characters. Candy AI publishes a cast list for 30 of the 60 dramas here. In 17 of them a performer’s digital twin is credited: an AI version of that performer, so nothing in the episodes was filmed with her. The other names in cast lists are shown on each series page as Candy AI credits them.
What it costs to follow a drama
Candy AI splits each drama into free and paid episodes:
- Open dramas (52): episode 1 without an account, episode 2 with a free account, then 12 or 30 tokens for each further episode. A five-episode drama at 12 tokens costs 36 tokens to finish, at 30 tokens 90.
- Spicy dramas (8): Premium covers episodes 1 and 2; each later episode is 30 or 50 tokens, which makes 90 to 400 tokens depending on the series.
Prices were checked on Candy AI between 26 October and 6 November 2026.
Is it for you?
Worth it if you like short stories with a clear setup and you are happy to judge a drama from a one-minute opener before paying anything. Skip it if you want long episodes or a complete story for free: no drama here can be finished without tokens or Premium.
