The guest nobody invited
Tom married Ava only a week ago, and the newlyweds are on their honeymoon by the sea. Then Ava’s mother, Lexi Luna, arrives. She has taken the room beside theirs, the two rooms share a connecting door, and she has an opinion about the wedding: it won’t last the week.
That is the whole conflict, set up in a few lines. A new marriage, a mother-in-law who doubts it out loud, and a door between her room and theirs. Tom, Ava and Lexi Luna are the three characters the premise names. Candy AI credits Lexi Luna in the cast.
Pool first, then the room
The drama is split into five short episodes. Episode 1 is about 1:18, longer than many openers, and moves from the resort pool to the inside of a hotel room. The tone starts sunny and relaxed and becomes more pointed once the action moves indoors. A lot of the tension comes from what is said rather than what is shown.
Episode 1, from the pool to the room
The episode opens on a dark-haired woman in a white bikini by the pool, a sheer robe over it; she walks toward the camera and pulls her sunglasses down. At about 0:17 a blonde woman joins her, in a white dress, and they hug. Then the dark-haired woman, still in the sun, smiles and talks to the camera. After the premise, the warmth of that greeting is hard to take at face value.
From around 1:00 the episode is inside a hotel room. The dark-haired woman has changed into a black robe, worn open, and is talking to a man dressed in white linen. By the last shot the robe shows red lingerie underneath and she is close beside him, the most revealing moment of the episode.
