The house has one rule, and the wife’s stepmom takes it seriously: nothing hidden. Doors stay open, nothing has a lock, and she owns a trunk of S&M toys.
The premise is written to the husband. Tonight, it says, his wife puts a blindfold on him and leaves him with her stepmom, so he will not see what is coming. That is the twist on the usual stepmom story: there is no affair to hide, because the wife is the one who arranges it. The tension comes from the rule itself and from what the blindfold means for him.

Open doors in five episodes
The story is split into five episodes, and episode 1 lasts 1:11. It moves through the shared spaces of the house: a bathroom, a living room couch and a laundry room, which makes the open-door rule visible rather than just stated.
The tone is cheeky and relaxed. Episode 1 reaches implied nudity, framed so that nothing explicit is shown, and the blindfold and the trunk do not appear in it.

The stepmom enters at around 0:17. A man is showering behind fogged-up glass when she comes into the bathroom, dark-haired, in brown lace with a towel around her waist. She does not knock and does not leave.
The scene that explains the premise comes next. From 0:30 the stepmom and the wife are side by side on the living room couch, each holding a cold drink, heads close, whispering. The wife is still in her white halter top and knee socks. The episode doesn’t spell out what they are saying, but they look like two people sharing a plan.
