The wedding is two weeks away, and the fiancée has made one thing clear: there will be no bachelor party. Then she leaves, and the groom is left alone with her mother.
Her mother sees it differently. She used to be a dancer, and in her view every groom has earned a proper send-off before he marries. The premise sums up his part in one line: he never agrees, but he can’t bring himself to refuse. So the conflict is a man trying to stay loyal by doing nothing, while his future mother-in-law decides the party will happen anyway.
