The setup
Three weeks ago, in Miami, a man spent the night with a stranger. Now he is visiting his girlfriend’s family for the first time, flowers in hand, and the woman who opens the door is that stranger. She is his girlfriend’s mother. Tonight’s rule is simple: nothing her daughter can overhear.
The drama sits on that secret. Two people know something the girlfriend does not, they are under the same roof, and only one of them seems worried about it. She is relaxed; he looks like a man waiting for a disaster. Nobody is named in the premise. Candy AI lists a digital twin of Asa Akira in the cast.
Pace and format
The story runs five short AI episodes. Episode 1 is about 1:08 long and does its work quickly: a few seconds of the night in question, then straight to the front door and the kitchen. The tone is awkward comedy turning into tension, with him stunned at the door and her calm and talkative in the kitchen. Many shots are close-ups, so every reaction is easy to read.
Episode 1: the visit
The reveal is built around a bunch of flowers. At about 0:10 the woman in a white satin blouse smiles at the door, while the man stands outside holding the bouquet he brought, looking stunned, with a blonde woman next to him. By around 0:25 they are in a bright kitchen, where he hands the flowers to the blonde woman in a blue dress and the woman in the white blouse watches and keeps talking. Apart from the red lace lingerie in the brief opening shot of their night together, everyone stays dressed.
Watching the full drama
Episode 1 plays on Candy AI without an account, and a free account opens episode 2. Episodes 3 to 5 cost 30 tokens each, 90 tokens for the rest of the story (prices checked on Candy AI on 27 October 2026). No Premium plan is needed.
Answer the door?
Worth it if you like the “already happened” setup, where the secret exists before the drama starts and the question is how long it can be hidden from the girlfriend.
Skip it if you were hoping for a cheaper finish: at 90 tokens the paid episodes cost more than most five-episode series. A close cousin is My Girlfriend’s Mom, which starts from the same kind of night with a stranger, and the AI drama guide explains how Candy Shorts episodes are unlocked.
